Eric Doyle was a key member of the SHC Sailing team, where he served as team captain and motivator. Through his fine sailing and hard work, SHC received top-20 votes in all four years of his college career. Since graduation, Doyle has continued his competitive sailing in the Star Class. In 1999, he won the Star World Championship and his first Gold Star. Doyle has also done some big boat sailing as well, including an America’s Cup campaign with Dennis Conner and two with Oracle.
