Campbell’s 2,375 career points has held up as the SHC record since 1999. His honors include; NAIA All-American in 1998 and 1999, three-time All-Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in ’97,’98 and ’99. GCAC Player of the Year in 1998 and the Small College Athlete of the Year Award in 1999, which is voted on by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Campbell holds SHC records for career points (2,375), 764 points in a single season, career scoring average of 18.9 ppg, season field goal percentage (.668). He is also 2nd in career rebounds (1,182) and tied for 7 steals in a single game. Campbell helped the 1999 Badgers to a GCAC Tournament Championship and an appearance at the NAIA National Tournament. Campbell went onto a long professional basketball career overseas, winning championships in the Israeli Premier League in 2008 and the French A league in 2006 and 2009. He was also named MVP of the French League National Cup in 2006.
