Monica DeSilva Kelsey is one of the most decorated student-athletes in Spring Hill College history. Monica starred for the Badgers Softball program from 1999–2002. DeSilva Kelsey was a four-time All-Gulf Coast Conference selection, four-time member of the NAIA All-Region team, a member of 1999 NAIA National All-Tournament Team, First Team NAIA All American 2002, as well as a Daktronics National Scholar Athlete. She was a key member of the Badger squad that made two NAIA National Tournament appearances in 1999 and 2002, where the 1999 squad finished 3rd. With DeSilva Kelsey’s help, the Badgers finished in the Top-25 National Rankings all four years. She still ranks No. 1 in the Spring Hill College Record Book in career RBIs with 122 and assists with 364. Monica also ranks second in career doubles with 45.
