MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill men's tennis team was saddled with a loss on Friday, falling 5-2 at the hands of Southern Arkansas at Medal of Honor Park. The loss drops the Badgers to 8-8 on the season, including a 3-2 mark in the city of Mobile. Â

The Muleriders opened the day with victories on Courts 3 and 2 respectively in doubles action, picking up the early 1-0 lead.
Tom Gutermann got Spring Hill on the board with a 6-4, 6-1 win in the top flight, but SAU stormed back with back-to-back wins on Courts 5 and 4.

Tom Ruel kept the Badgers in it with a three-set win in the third flight, bringing Spring Hill back within a point. The Muleriders closed out the second and final flights with wins, however, preventing the Spring Hill comeback.
