Badgers finish off sweep of Mobile with 5-2 win

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill men's tennis team picked up a 5-2 victory on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the University of Mobile. The Badgers have now swept the season series with the Rams, and Tuesday's win improves Spring Hill to 8-7 on the season.
 
Match Details:
The Badgers opened the day by taking all three doubles matches, carrying momentum into singles play. Tom Gutermann made quick work of his opponent on Court 1, picking up a 6-1, 6-1 victory to expand the Spring Hill lead to 2-0.
 
Filipe Grebenstov followed with a 6-0, 6-1 victory on Court 2, and Ruel then closed out a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the third flight to earn the clinching point. The Rams got on the board with a win on Court 4, but Evan Patton gave SHC their final point of the day with a 6-4, 6-2 win on Court 5.
