MOBILE, Ala. – The defending SIAC volleyball champion, Spring Hill College, announced its 2022 schedule on Tuesday.  
 
The Badgers will start their season off with a scrimmage at home against Central Missouri on Aug. 24. They will then spend two days in Pensacola, Fla., for matches against West Florida (8/26), Wheeling (8/26) and Lees-McRae (8/27).
 
SHC will kick off September on the road in Winter Park, Fla., for matches against Charleston and Barry on Sept. 2, followed by Florida Tech and Rollins on Sept. 3. Spring Hill will return to Pensacola for a three-game slate featuring Lewis and North Carolina-Pembroke on Sept. 9, followed by a match against Oklahoma Baptist (9/10).
 
The Badgers will end their non-conference slate with a home match against Montevallo on Sept. 13.
 
The SIAC Mini will be hosted by Albany State in Albany, Ga., with Spring Hill facing Edward Waters and Albany State on Sept. 17.
 
The SIAC Crossover will take place in Cartersville, Ga., with the Badgers facing Allen and Benedict on Sept. 23, and Clark Atlanta, Savannah State and Fort Valley State the following day.
 
SHC will return to Mobile on Sept. 29, to host Miles in conference play.
 
The first SIAC West Division Cluster is slated to take place in Frankfort, Ky., Oct. 7-8. Spring Hill will take on LeMoyne-Owen and Kentucky State on Oct. 7. The team will finish the first cluster with matches against Central State and Lane on Oct. 8.
 
Tuskegee will host the Badgers and Miles on October 11. Spring Hill will travel to Hoover, Ala., October 14-15 for the Gulf South/Sunshine Crossover.
 
The second SIAC West Division Cluster is scheduled to take place October 21-22 in Memphis, Tenn. SHC will face LeMoyne-Owen and Kentucky State on Oct. 21, followed by Lane and Central State on Oct. 22.
 
The Badgers will finish their regular season with a conference match against Tuskegee at home on October 28.
 
The SIAC Volleyball Tournament is set for November 10-12 with the location being announced at a later date.
