PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The Spring Hill women's tennis team picked up the biggest win of the season on Friday, defeating Clark Atlanta 4-2 in the semifinals of the SIAC Championship Tournament. The Badgers will advance to Saturday's final, where they will take on Tuskegee for the conference championship.

Emma Koch teamed up for a 7-5 doubles victory on Court 2, and the tandem of
Claire Bosman and
Romina Kroemer followed with a 6-4 win in the top flight to give Spring Hill the first point of the day. Koch carried momentum over into singles play, making quick work of her opponent in the second flight to pick up a 6-0, 6-2 win and push the Badger lead to 2-0.
Junior
Brooke Powers put Spring Hill on the brink of a clinch with a 6-2, 6-3 victory on Court 3, but the Panthers answered with back-to-back wins on Courts 4 and 5. After dropping the first set, Bosman bounced back with a 6-4, 6-2 victory in the top flight, giving the Badgers the final point needed to advance to Saturday's championship final.
