Spring Hill wraps up SIAC Round-Up with four straight wins

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill women's tennis team wrapped up the SIAC Round-Up on Friday afternoon, picking up a pair of 6-1 victories. The Badgers won their last four Round-Up matches and now stand at 9-3 against SIAC opponents this season.

Match Details:
Spring Hill opened the day by sweeping Albany State in doubles action, but the Rams responded with a win in the top singles flight to even the score at a point apiece. The rest of the day was dominated by the Badgers, as they rattled off five straight wins, including three 6-0, 6-0 sweeps to close out the match with the win.

After the Badgers took the doubles point from Benedict, they found themselves on the brink of a clinch, as the shorthanded Tigers had to forfeit the bottom two flights. Three more matches resulted in a retirement, giving Spring Hill their fourth victory in two days.
