MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill women's tennis team was tripped up on Friday afternoon, falling 4-3 to Southern Arkansas at Medal of Honor Park. The loss drops the Badgers to 6-8 on the season and 0-3 all-time against the Muleriders.

Italia Jones picked up a doubles win by default, and the Spring Hill duo of
Romina Kroemer and
Brooke Powers gave the Badgers the doubles point with a 7-5 victory on Court 2. SHC picked up the #6 singles point by default to begin singles play with a 2-0 lead, but the Muleriders answered with a win on Court 4 to get on the scoreboard.

Hill came away with a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the fifth flight, putting Spring Hill in front 3-2. Southern Arkansas was in control the rest of the way, rallying to take each of the top three flights and pull out the win.
