WEST POINT, Miss. – The Spring Hill men's golf team wrapped up Blue Mountain Christian's Spring Classic on Tuesday afternoon, finishing in ninth place out of 16 teams. The field featured 10 nationally-ranked programs, and the Badgers totaled 946 over the event's three rounds.

Spring Hill teammates Kevin Tobertge and
Christopher Janson tied one another for ninth individually after the first round, shooting 3-over on the first 18 holes. Nick Kelsey improved in each round before closing out with another 3-over to lead the Badgers on Tuesday afternoon.

Tobertge (75/80/77) ended the tournament as Spring Hill's top individual, finishing in 22nd place. Janson (75/84/79), Kelsey (82/81/75) and
Nicholas Haber (78/81/79) tied one another with a three-round total of 238 to close out the scoring for the Badgers.

As a team, SHC combined for 23 birdies, tying them for seventh with Faulkner and Loyola. Janson led the way for the Badgers in that category with 7, including four in the middle round.

The Badgers are back in action on Monday, March 30, when they head to Tennessee to take part in the Music City Invitational. The tournament is hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University and will take place at Hermitage Golf Course.
