Kelsey two off GSC lead, SHC in second

TUNICA SPRINGS, Miss. – The Spring Hill men's golf team finished the second round of the SIAC Championship on Tuesday afternoon and sits in second place as a team heading into Wednesday's final round. The Badgers enter Wednesday just 12 strokes behind Miles, while Nick Kelsey (E) is just two strokes off the individual lead.

Kelsey birdied a pair on each the front and the back nine on Tuesday, finishing the round with a 71, matching the best round score of any individual in the field. He has now birdied seven different holes on this course and trails only LeMoyne-Owen's Albert Laursen (-2) on the tournament leaderboard.
 
Spring Hill teammate Kevin Tobergte shot a 78 (+6) on Tuesday but is still in a tie for seventh place after a strong performance on Monday. Christopher Janson is tied for 15th with a two-round total of 154 (+10), and Nicholas Haber shaved a remarkable 13 strokes off his Monday total to jump 11 spots on the individual leaderboard.
