MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team completed the sweep of the Tuskegee series at Sims-Galle Field on Saturday. The Badgers put together a late comeback to defeat the Golden Tigers, 9-5.

Enrique Baraza got things started for Spring Hill (15-8, 11-1 SIAC) with an RBI single in the second inning. SHC stacked three more runs on in the third, highlighted by
Jack Taylor's RBI double to left field.

Tuskegee (6-14, 3-9 SIAC) got on the board in the fifth and took the lead with a 5-run inning in the sixth.
Jackson Bell's home run in the seventh swung the momentum back in the Badgers' favor.

SHC scored three more runs in the eighth for insurance to seal the 9-5 win over the Golden Tigers. The Badgers grew their win streak to eight games in the victory.

Bell led Spring Hill at the plate with a home run, three RBIs and two runs on two hits in four at-bats.
Miles Justin got the start on the mound and threw 4.0 scoreless innings with three strikeouts and no walks.

Garrett Lott (2-1) earned the win with no hits and six strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work. In total, the SHC pitching staff combined for 12 strikeouts on the day.
