MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team walked off Friday's series opener against Edward Waters, 7-6, at Sims-Galle Field.

Eli Benoit started the game off with an RBI double in the opening frame. The Badgers (8-8, 6-1 SIAC) continued the game-opening run with an RBI single in the second.

Jackson Bell capped off the 3-0 run with an RBI triple. A Tiger (11-6, 6-1 SIAC) homer in the third stopped the scoring run.

Hunter hit another RBI single in the fourth before a 5-0 run by Edward Waters made it a 6-4 game in the eighth.
Weston Kirk brought a run home and the Badgers scored on a bases-loaded hit by pitch to tie the game.

Parker Serio's plate discipline ended the game with a walk-off bases-loaded walk. He also led the Badgers with a 3-for-4 day at the plate and a double.

Kai St. Germaine (1-1) picked up the win on the mound after coming in relief and tossing a scoreless inning. Spring Hill's pitching staff combined for seven strikeouts.
