MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's soccer team battled Delta State to a 1-1 draw in Friday's Gulf South Conference opener at Library Field.

Delta State (1-1-2, 0-0-1 GSC) got on the scoreboard first in the 25
th minute when Chloe Colquhoun scored a goal assisted by Casey Stalder. Just before the close of the half,
Hannah Fromme took a free kick from outside the penalty box and scored the equalizer for Spring Hill (2-2-1, 0-0-1 GSC) in the 43
rd minute.

Five different Badgers took at least one shot on goal, including Fromme and
Poppy Binding, who took two shots. Fromme,
Reagan Knight and
Carlotta Stark all went the distance, playing the full 90 minutes. Stark made seven saves and faced 12 shots.
