Badgers Fall on Final Day of Outback Invitational

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team fell 3-0 to Northwest Missouri State and 3-1 to (RV) Wingate during the final day of the Outback Invitational on Saturday at the UWF Field House.
 
The Badgers (1-7) were swept by Northwest Missouri State (3-4) in three sets (18-25, 18-25, 20-25) to start the day. Airyonna Weaver, Jaylyne Bell, Emily Cook and Hayley Hillman all led the team with two blocks apiece. Weaver also led the team with 14 digs. Brooke Borgmeyer led the offense with 10 kills.
 
Spring Hill lost to Wingate (7-1), 25-20, 17-25, 17-25, 20-25, in its final match of the weekend at the Outback Invitational. SHC led the match with five service aces and six blocks. Bell led with 15 kills, Weaver led with four blocks and Cook led with 38 assists.
