MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team fell 14-4 in seven innings to crosstown rival Mobile at Mike Jacobs Field on Tuesday night.

Eli Benoit led Spring Hill (23-15, 18-6 SIAC) and went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBIs, a doubled and a run scored. The game marked the second in a row that Benoit, who was named SIAC Player of the Week earlier in the day, hit a home run.

Evan Langston (4-3) suffered the loss on the mound after yielding six runs (four earned) on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks over 3.0 innings.

- T2 | Benoit homered to left field and brought John Mahoney across the plate to open scoring, Spring Hill 2-0.
- B2 | Mobile begins its scoring run with a six-run inning highlighted by J.T. Lastorka's two-RBI double to right field to score Bryce Eddington and Peyton Bell, Mobile 6-2.
- B4 | The Ram scoring run continues with a seven-run inning that was capped off by another two-run RBI, this time from Sam Bowman to score Eddington and Bell, Mobile 13-2.
- B5 | Cameron Brock scores on a balk, Mobile 14-2.
- T6 | Seth Williams singled and advanced to second on an error as Jackson Bell scored. Benoit doubled to left field to score Williams, Mobile 14-4.
