MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team completed the SIAC series sweep against LeMoyne-Owen during Saturday's doubleheader at Sims-Galle Field.

Seth Williams paced the Badgers (23-14, 18-6 SIAC) at the plate in the first game while going 5-for-5 with a home run, three doubled, three RBI and three runs.
Jackson Bell pitched in with a home run of his own for the second game in a row while going 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBI.
John Mahoney and
Parker Serio also contributed two RBI apiece while five other Badgers knocked in a run.

Miles Justin (3-0) took the win on the mound in the series-clinching victory. The junior tossed 2.0 innings while not allowing any hits, striking out two batters and walking one.

Eli Benoit led SHC in the second game with a grand slam, five RBI and two runs scored on two hits in three at-bats. Williams had four RBI, followed by Bell and
John Webb who had three apiece.
Jack Taylor, who leads the team with 12 multi-RBI games, added two of his own during the rout of the Magicians (1-24, 1-22 SIAC).
Ethan Valdez went 3-for-5 in his team-leading 13
th multi-hit game of the season.

Luke Baker (1-0) earned his first win of the season while giving up two unearned runs on three hits with three strikeouts over 2.0 innings pitched.

Game One
- B1 | Benoit popped a sacrifice fly up to left field to score Mahoney. Serio followed with a sacrifice fly of his own and brought Bell home. Luke Sweeney singled to center field to score Williams, Spring Hill 3-0.
- B3 | Jon Barnard sacrificed to left field to score Izzy Carerra, Spring Hill 4-0.
- B4 | Bell hit a two-run home run to center field. Serio sacrificed to right field to score Williams, Spring Hill 7-0.
- B5 | Mahoney sacrificed to right field to score Barnard, Spring Hill 8-0.
- B6 | In a 0-2 count, Williams homered down the right field line. Benoit scored on a wild pitch. Jay McCants singled to center field to score Toran Smith. Guillot scored on a fielder's choice to shortstop. Webb singled to right field to score McCants. Williams knocked a two-run double to right center, Spring Hill 15-0.
- T7 | Ryan Meglis grounded into a double play to score Mason Beville. Steven Huggins doubled to left center to score Zion LaGrone, Spring Hill 15-2.
Game Two
- B1 | Taylor doubled to left center and allowed Bell to score the opening run of the game. Webb singled to center field and got Taylor home, Spring Hill 2-0.
- B2 | Bell blasted a three-run home run over the left field wall, Spring Hill 5-0.
- T3 | Huggins hit a sacrifice fly to left center, Spring Hill 5-1.
- T4 | B. Jackson grounded out to second, which allowed LaGrone to score, Spring Hill 5-2.
- B4 | Williams smacked a three-run double to right center and scored on the following RBI single from Taylor. Serio scored on a wild pitch. LeMoyne-Owen walked in a run before committing an error at second base that allowed Sweeney to score. Benoit smashed his second grand slam of the season over the left field wall, Spring Hill 16-2.
- B5 | Valdez singled to center field and brought Webb across the plate. LOC walked in another run. Benoit singled through the left side; Smith scored on the play. Williams knocked an RBI single to second to score Valdez. Serio hit one to left field and allowed Mahoney to cross home plate. Webb hit a two-run RBI double to right center, Spring Hill 23-2.
- T6 | Amir Morgan started a rally for LOC with a hard-hit ball to Valdez that caused an error, bringing home the runner. Meglis singled up the middle and scored Jerry Willis, Spring Hill 23-4.
