MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team run-ruled Miles, 15-5, in Friday evening's SIAC series opener at Sims-Galle Field.

Eli Benoit led the Badgers (28-19, 23-7 SIAC) at the plate with a home run, double, sacrifice fly, five RBI and two runs scored on three hits in four at-bats.
Bryce Anderson,
Parker Serio,
Luke Sweeney and
Ethan Valdez each tallied two RBIs apiece. Serio had a perfect night (2-2) at the plate that featured an RBI triple in the opening frame.
Jackson Bell,
Jack Taylor, Sweeney and Valdez also doubled.

Evan Langston (7-3) scattered five runs (two earned) on eight hits and one walk over 7.0 innings. He struck out seven batters in his victory on the mound.
Miles Justin closed out the run-rule win with a scoreless inning and a pair of strikeouts. Â

- B1 | Benoit sent a no-doubt three-run home run over the left field wall to open scoring. Serio knocked a triple into left field to score Taylor, Spring Hill 4-0.
- T3 | Trey Rutledge singled to center field to score Tyler Spruill. Auston Brewer scored on an error by Langston. Nick Copen sacrificed to center field to score Rutledge. Camden Matthews scored on a balk, 4-4.
- B4 | Benoit sacrificed to right field to score Valdez, Spring Hill 5-4.
- B5 | Sweeney doubled to center field and brought Serio around second and across the plate, Spring Hill 6-4.
- T6 | Max Davenport scored on an error by Langston, Spring Hill 6-5.
- B6 | Benoit doubled to center field to score Bell. Anderson singled to center field to score both Benoit and Seth Williams. Serio singled up the middle to score Anderson. Valdez doubles down the right field line to score both Serio and Taylor, Spring Hill 12-5.
- B7 | Williams scored on a balk. Sweeney sacrificed to right field to score Anderson, Spring Hill 14-5.
