They Said It
Head Coach Craig Kennedy
On the game
"Albany State gave us everything we could handle. My gosh, they came out in that first half, they had a great game plan for us. They were hitting big time shots and imposing their will on us. Coach Patrick Gayle is a tremendous coach. They really took it to our guys. I thought our guys, down the stretch, showed their maturity and courage.
Timothy Reilly got fired up and started playing the way he needs to play all the time, because he's capable of that. Walter was hot in the first half for us,
Luka Erdtmann came off the bench and gave us some huge minutes there. It was our veteran squad that really got us back into the game. It started with our defense, Tim imposing his will inside and our bigs just have to do that. So, I was I was pretty pleased with how he played because he really keyed our second half run. Great job by our fans too. My gosh, our fans are absolutely tremendous and Father Steele being at the game was really nice."
