ALBANY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team (24-7, 19-0 SIAC) defeated No. 1-seeded Albany State (19-10, 17-5 SIAC), 3-2, to earn its sixth-straight SIAC women's volleyball championship at the HPER Gym on Saturday.

The Badgers defeated the Golden Rams in five sets, 25-14, 25-15, 22-25, 26-28, 15-5. Spring Hill nabbed the automatic qualifier bid and will make its sixth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

SHC hit a .231 clip while holding ASU to .100 in the closely-contested championship final. The Badgers led the match in every major statistical category.

Airyonna Weaver earned All-Tournament and MVP honors after posting a double-double that featured a match-leading 16 kills and 14 digs.
Jaylyne Bell received an all-tournament nod after posting a D-II era program record 11 total blocks at the net and rounding out her double-double with 15 kills.
Camille McDermott also landed a spot on the all-tournament team after leading the match with 46 assists.

Brooke Borgmeyer and
Lillie Casey both hit double-digit figures on offense with 12 and 10 kills, respectively.
Ashlyn Whiteside led the team with 17 digs, followed by
Haile Hallmon with 11.
