BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Spring Hill College volleyball team (24-8) saw its season come to an end against top-seeded Lynn (28-3) in the first round of the NCAA South Regional at the de Hoernle Sports & Culture Center on Friday.
The Badgers fell to the Fighting Knights in three sets, 25-13, 25-12, 26-24. Spring Hill made its sixth-straight appearance in the NCAA South Regional.
Spring Hill hit a .191 clip to Lynn's .398.
Brooke Borgmeyer and
Jaylyne Bell led the team on offense with seven kills apiece. Bell also led with a pair of aces and blocks.
Camille McDermott led with 22 assists and
Airyonna Weaver led on defense with 11 digs. Weaver hit 1,000 career digs during the match.
