ALBANY, Ga. – The Spring Hill College Volleyball team (23-7, 19-0 SIAC) swept No. 2-seeded Savannah State (15-9, 13-6 SIAC) in the semifinal round of the Cricket SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship at HPER Gym on Friday.

The Badgers defeated the Tigers in three sets 25-20, 25-5, 25-21. Spring Hill advanced to its sixth-consecutive SIAC championship final.

SHC held Savannah State to a .037 clip while hitting .270. The Badgers led the Tigers in kills, assists and digs.

Jaylyne Bell led the match with 12 kills followed by
Airyonna Weaver with 11. Weaver also led the team with three aces and three total blocks.
Camille McDermott paced the contest with 36 assists. Weaver, Bell and McDermott each recorded .400-plus hitting percentages.

Haile Hallmon and
Ashlyn Whiteside both led with 13 digs apiece. Bell,
Lillie Casey and
Hayley Hillman all stood tall at the net, recording two blocks apiece.
