CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Brennan LeBlanc's brace lifted the Spring Hill College men's soccer team (3-4-0) to a 2-1 win over Gulf South Conference foe Lee (3-4-2) at the Ray Conn Sports Complex on Friday evening.
Brett Stow connected with LeBlanc for the first goal of the match in the 13
th minute of play. The Badgers carried the 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Lee's Daniel Garvilla opened scoring in the second half with the equalizing goal in the 69
th minute. LeBlanc scored the game-winning goal in the 77
th minute and was assisted by
Brice Screws. The pair of goals marked the first brace of LeBlanc's career.
The Badgers put three of their four shots on target in the road win.
Martin Gomez made three saves while facing 12 shots from the Flames.
Spring Hill moved up to third in the GSC standings after improving to 3-1-0 in league play. Meanwhile, Lee fell to eighth with a 2-2-1 conference record.
