Softball suffers doubleheader defeat at West Alabama

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Spring Hill College softball team fell to West Alabama, 10-2 and 9-1, in a non-conference doubleheader mid-week matchup at the UWA Softball Complex on Tuesday.
 
Airyonna Weaver batted in the lone runs for the Badgers in the first game, but it wasn't enough to overcome the eight-run deficit imposed by the Tigers. In game two, Spring Hill had the game in a 1-1 tie by the end of the second inning, before West Alabama answered with eight more runs to take the 9-1 win.
