SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Spring Hill College baseball team fell 9-7 in the final game of a three-game series to Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) foe Savannah State at Tiger Field on Sunday.

Spring Hill got on the board first in the first inning and took a 2-0 lead on a RBI double form
Norris McClure. Savannah State scored seven unanswered runs in the third and fourth innings to take a 7-2 lead.
Parker Serio homered to left field and scored two runs in the sixth inning to cut the Tiger lead to three (7-4). Â After a single run by SSU in the seventh, SHC scored three runs in the eighth to make it a one-run game (8-7). The Tigers got away with a 9-7 win over the Badgers in the end, clinching the series.

Evan Langston took the loss on the mound for Spring Hill, while Enrico Peele got the win and Merritt Evans II got the save.
