MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College baseball team fell 14-13 in a hard-fought battle with Loyola (La.) at Sims-Galle Field on Tuesday night.

The Wolfpack got things started in the top of the third by putting the first two runs of the game on the board. The Badgers answered with six runs in their half of the third inning, led by a three-run homer from
Jackson Bell. The teams went back-and-forth to the ninth inning. Spring Hill scored three runs on a home run by
Nick Hunter in the bottom of the ninth to cut Loyola's lead to one run. The Wolfpack held on to defeat SHC 14-13 after a hard-fought battle.

Spring Hill was led by
Ethan Valdez and
Bryce Anderson with three hits apiece. Loyola's Cole Romero had four hits and six RBIs on the night. The Wolfpack's Joshua Orr took the win while
Graham Young received the loss for the Badgers.
