MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College men's basketball Head Coach Craig Kennedy announced the program's incoming signing class on Tuesday.  
 
Kennedy announced six signees; Collin Coates, Omri Vorotizky, Ioannis Giannoultsis, Isaiah Veal, Monroe Barber and Myles Johnson.
 
"This is a really solid class, they fill in some holes we had at point guard. We bring in Bo Barber, who won a state championship at Mountain Brook and he spent a semester at junior college. We also bring in Isaiah Veal from Chabot College, he raised that program to a new level. They are both winners, they know how to run an offense, they know how to make their teammates better, so those two really fill some needs that we had."
 
Coach Kennedy highlighted his international student-athlete signees; Vorotizky and Giannoultsis.
 
"We got solid with a couple of international student-athletes, Omri Vorotizky from Israel. He's a 6-6 shooting guard, high IQ and can knock down the shot. He just finished his stint with the Israeli Army, so he comes in as a 21-year old freshman who's going to bring some maturity. Ionannis Giannoultsis is a kid that we watched for a couple years, I think they had him playing out of position initially. He's 6-7 and reminds me in some ways of Chase Shellman. He can play multiple positions and handle the ball in transition. He went to junior college in Virginia which really helped him."
 
Kennedy also spoke about freshman signees Coates and Johnson.
 
"Collin Coates is a legacy student-athlete, he was at our elite camp last year. At 6-6, he's got a good frame and high IQ, he can knock down the open shot, he'll be able to post up and defend, so he's a nice addition. Myles Johnson is someone that I think has really flown under the radar. We were attracted first by his athleticism, but then found out he can really shoot the ball better than we anticipated," Kennedy continued. "This is a really solid class that's going to support the returners that had a strong finish for us last season."
