MOBILE, Ala. (March 13, 2022) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Badgers baseball team finished a 3-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series sweep of the Benedict College (BC) Tigers on Sunday afternoon with a 13-2 victory at historic Stan Galle Field.
Kaleb Bush improved to 2-1 on the year with a 5-inning start in which he allowed three hits and five walks with eight strikeouts.
Jack Lahr picked up his first save of the season entering the game with a 5-2 Badger lead in the 6
th inning and allowing just one hit and a walk with one strikeout before the Badgers erupted for four runs in both the 6
th and 7
th innings to earn the 10-run Mercy Rule win.

th home runs of the year for six RBI in the contest while
Gage Ragona,
Bryce Walker, and
Cam Brock each enjoyed 2-hit performances at the plate. In total, SHC racked up 11 hits and seven walks.
Jorge Baez (1-2) took the loss in six innings, surrendering nine hits and five walks with two strikeouts.
The Badgers (9-8; 3-3 SIAC West) will travel to Livingston, Ala. on Wednesday to take on the University of West Alabama (UWA) Tigers (5-17) at 3 p.m. on Tartt Field.
