SHC falls at home to EWU

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College women's basketball team fell to Edward Waters 72-63 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Thursday night.
 
Despite a strong second-half outing by the Badgers, including out-scoring Edward Waters 43-30, the Tigers still came out on top 72-63. SHC falls to 1-7 and 1-3 in conference play while EWU improves to 5-5 and 1-3 after capturing its first SIAC win of the season.
 
Iamunique Bowie led the game with 23 points while Tiana Smith led with eight rebounds. Edward Waters was led by Jourdan Avery and Isis Smith with 14 points apiece.
