The Golden Rams (2-7, 1-2 SIAC East) held a 35-26 lead at the halftime intermission and fought off several SHC rallies in the second period, but a 16-point SHC deficit with 16 minutes left to play proved to be too big a hill for the Badgers to climb.

Beril Kabamba added 12 and
David Daniels pitched in 10 for the home team.
Jaden Gray came down with 11 rebounds. SHC shot 35% (21-60) from the floor and 30% (9-30) from 3-point range, but lost 22 turnovers to nine steals by ASU for 27 points off turnovers for the visitors from Georgia. SHC won the rebounding war by a 44-38 margin.
Jordan Simpson and Malik Parker each scored 22 points for the Rams with Simpson hauling in 13 rebounds. ASU shot 47.4% (27-57) from the field and 33.3% (4-12) from 3-point distance, but lost 19 turnovers to six Badger steals.
The Badgers (1-7, 0-2 SIAC West) will host the final SHC home athletic event of 2021 on Monday night when they welcome SIAC opponent the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers (3-5, 1-1 SIAC East) at 7 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
