MONTEVALLO, Ala. (October 8, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Badgers women's soccer team took a 5-0 Gulf South Conference (GSC) loss to the University of Montevallo (UM) Falcons at the UM Varsity Soccer Field on Friday evening.
The Falcons (5-4, 2-3 GSC) scored first in the 17
th minute and added goals in the 28
th and 32
nd minutes to make it a 3-0 UM advantage at intermission. Goals in the 59
th and 75
th minute closed out the game.
Badger starting keeper
Hannah Linss (0-1) made six saves against 30 shots and eight corner kicks by Montevallo. Angel Hailey of the Falcons made one save versus six shots and one corner kick by SHC.
The Badgers (0-11; 0-7 GSC) will next travel to face the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks (3-4; 1-3 GSC) at the AUM Soccer Complex on Sunday at 1 p.m.
