MONTGOMERY, Ala. (October 10, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Badgers women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 Gulf South Conference (GSC) loss to the Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Warhawks at the AUM Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.
The Warhawks (4-5, 2-4 GSC) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 4
th minute when Mayson Jaindl scored in the lower left corner off an assist from Michaelyn Manning. Anila Mantello would make it 2-0 with a successful 24
th minute penalty kick.
Jaindl added her second goal into the lower left of the net in the 36
th minute following an entry by Sydney Garth. Garth then scored a goal of her own into the lower left corner with just 38 seconds left before halftime with a helping pass from Milian Mollison.
Garth picked up the brace with a goal into the lower right corner in the 56
th minute from five yards out when she tapped in a perfect leading entry by Manning from the top right corner of the keeper's box. The final goal of the day came in the 89
th minute as Mollison scored with an assist from Maggie Flannigan.

Hannah Linss (0-2) made one save against seven shots and two corner kicks before being relieved at the intermission by
Anna Brunner who made no saves versus eight shots and four corners. Karla Gaytan (4-5) of the Warhawks made three saves versus seven shots and two corner kicks by SHC.
The Badgers (0-12; 0-8 GSC) will host the Shorter University Hawks (1-8; 0-6 GSC) at Library Field on Friday at 1 p.m.
