MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) baseball team finished a 4-game series sweep of the University of Missouri – St. Louis Tritons on Sunday with a wild 15-6 victory at historic Stan Galle Field.
The Badgers withstood falling behind 6-2 in the 4
th inning and committing four errors over the course of the contest to rally back and score five runs in the 5
th inning and add eight more runs over the next three frames for the win.
Five Badger pitchers combined for the victory with
RJ DelRio (1-0) registering the win in two innings of work with just one hit allowed along with one strikeout.

Frankie Timphony enjoyed a 4-for-6 outing with two RBI while designated hitter
Daniel Rodriguez was 4-for-5 with two runs driven in. Third baseman
Mason Bonnaffons drove in four runs off two hits. Catcher
Daniel Seres went 2-for-3 with two walks and a RBI.
For the Tritons (2-5), six pitchers allowed 16 hits, four walks and five hit batters with 11 strikeouts.
The Badgers (9-6) will host the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Chargers (7-5) at Stan Galle Field in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at noon on Wednesday.
