CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) court volleyball team suffered a 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 23-25, 19-25) non-conference loss to the Lee University Flames (3-0) on Wednesday night at Paul Dana Walker Arena.

Bentley Odom out of Murphy High School in Mobile, Ala., each recorded 15 kills for the Badgers as senior setter
Emmarose Neibert of Arnold, Mo., handed out 41 assists. Senior libero
Cassidi Sterrett from Lee's Summit, Mo., collected 26 digs with two service aces while Odom knocked back three blocks at the net.
As a team, SHC hit for a .176 (52-19-188) average with 51 assists and five service aces. The Badger defense tallied five blocks and 102 digs as Lee built a .214 (58-17-.192) attack percentage. The Flames also notched eight aces, eight blocks and 104 digs.
The Badgers (1-4) next open play at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division Cluster on Thursday in Frankfort, Ky., at the host Kentucky State University Thorobretts (1-1) beginning at 6:30 p.m. (Eastern) in the Exum Center.
