MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Badgers baseball team took on Auburn University-Montgomery in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday.
SHC registered seven hits, one more than the hosts, but stranded 12 runners and managed no runs in an 8-0 loss to the Warhawks.
The onslaught from the hosts included included four home runs while no Spring Hill batters recorded multiple hits.
Hunter Romero had a pinch-hit double in the 9th inning for SHC, their only extra base hit of the day.
Will Shaw (1-3) took the loss, allowing two runs in 2.0 innings of work.
Spring Hill (23-15) will travel to Jackson, Tenn. for a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) series with Lane College this weekend. Play begins with a doubleheader Friday, April 19th, at noon.
