Carrollton, GA – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's soccer team dropped a 7-0 Gulf South Conference (GSC) decision at the University of West Georgia on Sunday afternoon.
West Georgia Scored three first half goals with tallies coming in the 24

th, and 34
th minutes. West Georgia tacked on four more second half goals in the 53

nd, and 79
th minutes for the 7-0 final result. West Georgia outshot the Badgers 33-7 overall and 17-2 in shots on goal. Badger goal keepers

Grace Riley combined for 10 saves in the loss.
"This was a tough loss," said Head Coach
Allison Whitworth. "We had several players who were playing out of position due to injuries and we simply struggled to adapt on the road. However, we got a lot of our younger players some minutes today which will help us be more experienced in the future. Hopefully we can get healthy before next weekend and be at full strength heading into a big GSC weekend."
The Badgers (1-6, 1-3 GSC) will next travel to Montevallo, AL to take on Montevallo University in a GSC match on Friday, September 28 at 5:00 PM.
