Wilberforce, Ohio – The Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team defeated Central State University Saturday afternoon to move to 4-0 in conference play. The Badgers claimed the victory by scores of 25-5, 25-11, and 25-17.
The Badger offensive attack was evenly distributed across the board as 11 Badgers combined for 46 kills. As a team, the Badgers produced a scorching .432 attack percentage keyed by the solid setting performance of junior
Emmarose Neibert who dished out 31 assists.
Defensively, the Badgers held Central State to an .094 attack percentage with two blocks along the front line. The solid back line dug up 32 attacks with Cassidy Sterrett leading the way with 9 digs.

Peggy Martin. "She set the tone for the match in set 1 with a nice scoring run. We again utilize our bench and everyone contributed."
The Badgers (8-3, 4-0 SIAC) will open up their home schedule when they host arch rival University of Mobile in a non-conference match on September 19
th at 6:00 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
