Memphis, TN – The Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team defeated Lane College at the SIAC West Division Cluster on Friday afternoon. The Badgers claimed the victory by scores of 25-12, 25-11, and 25-7.
Kassandra Fairly had 11 kills to lead the Badger offense while
Payton Gidney chipped in 6 kills and
Allison Weimer had 6.
Emmarose Neibert handed out 29 assists to pace the Badger offensive attack.
Cassidi Sterrett had an excellent defensive effort as she came up with 10 digs to go along with 2 service aces.
The Badgers (19-3, 13-0 SIAC) will continue play against Kentucky State at 3:00 PM. They will stay in Memphis to play on Saturday against Miles at 12:00 PM and LeMoyne-Owen at 2:00 PM.
