Memphis, TN – The Spring Hill College (SHC) volleyball team defeated Kentucky State University to conclude the first day of play at the SIAC West Division Cluster on Friday afternoon. The Badgers claimed the victory by scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-23.
Bentley Odom had 9 kills to lead the Badger front line.
Kassandra Fairly had another solid match producing 8 kills while
Allison Weimer had 7.
Emmarose Neibert handed out 27 assists to set up the Badger offensive attack.
Cassidi Sterrett came up with 13 digs while
Sarah Senft contributed 10.
The Badgers (20-3, 14-0 SIAC) will stay in Memphis to play on Saturday against Miles at 12:00 PM and LeMoyne-Owen at 2:00 PM.
