MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's soccer team stretched its current winning streak to four games with a 9-0 non-conference victory over the Louisiana College Wildcats at Library Field on Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats (1-10) fell behind 1-0 in the 12
th minute off a goal by Alaya Brito and an assist by
Matthew Moreno. By the end of the contest, Brito added a goal in the 16
th minute while
Viktor Kvarnlof scored in the 15
th minute,
Donte Oliver in the 36
th,
Ibrahima Ndaw in the 47
th, 49
th, and 55
th minutes,
Tilman Schober in the 50
th minute, and
Zach Witt in the 79
th minute.
Michael Ness, Kvarnloff, and
Jack LaForge each had assists while
Timo Schabetsberger and
Callum Porter each had two and
Alex Lipinski had three assists.
"The boys handled today's game in the right measure," said SHC head coach
Steve Wieczorek after the game. "Full credit to them for their professional approach and execution. We are back to conference play after two non-conference wins and I know the boys are excited for the derby match against West Florida on Sunday."

Geraldo Bina (7-3) earned the win in 45 minutes of time with no saves versus two shots while
Barou Ndaw started the second half and
Otto Candies finished the contest. All told, SHC keepers faced five shots with one corner while Nathan Gautreaux faced 31 shots and nine SHC corners with 11 saves.
The current SHC winning streak is the longest since a five-game streak that opened the 2012 season.
Lipinski's goal gave him 11 total for the year and ties him with Tyler Hartlage's 2012 total at No. 2 on the all-time SHC single season goals-scored list and just 4 goals shy of the school record of 15 set by Sean Simpson in 2008.
The Badgers (7-3, 3-2 GSC) will travel to Pensacola on Sunday to face Gulf South Conference (GSC) rival the University of West Florida (UWF) Argonauts (4-5-1; 2-3-1 GSC) at 3 p.m. at the UWF Soccer Complex. In one of the oldest SHC rivalries on record, UWF holds a 23-0-1 advantage in the series.
