Monica Vargo serves as the Assistant Director of Compliance and Athletic Enrollment at Spring Hill College, where she supports student-athletes throughout the enrollment and eligibility process while helping ensure a positive and successful collegiate experience.

Vargo earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media from Fairfield University in Connecticut, where she competed as a Division I volleyball student-athlete and was a two-time MAAC Champion. She then earned her master’s degree in Engaged and Applied Humanities from Spring Hill College in 2026 while competing in both indoor and beach volleyball.

During her time as a Badger, Vargo earned numerous honors, including AVCA All-American Honorable Mention, SIAC Setter of the Year, SIAC Tournament MVP, and Spring Hill College Female Athlete of the Year.

Her experience as a student-athlete at both the Division I and Division II levels shapes her approach to working with current and prospective Badgers. Vargo is passionate about Spring Hill’s mission and Jesuit values and is committed to helping student-athletes navigate the academic, athletic, and enrollment aspects of their college experience. Her goal is to ensure that every student-athlete has an enjoyable, meaningful, and successful experience during their time at Spring Hill.
