As Assistant Athletic Director for External Affairs, Michael Patrick has responsibility for athletic facility and game day operations within the SHC Athletics Department. He joined the Spring Hill family in 2015 from the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) where he served as the conference liaison with the eight member schools and managed the operations of all championship-related activities as well as developed and implemented corporate sponsor partnerships.

Patrick has been involved with Athletics Administration for over 30 years as a player, coach, instructor, journalist, executive and assistant director. Before his tenure with the SAA, he served as the Director of Men’s Soccer Operations for Oglethorpe University from 2009-2013 and as a National Team Scout for the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) from 2008-2010. In 2015, Patrick served as the Interim Head Coach of the SHC women's soccer team over the final 10 matches of the season.

Prior to his career in Sport Management, Patrick was a Vice President of Medical Sales for Interactive Optics from 1999-2008 and began his professional career as a Sports Journalist after earning a B.A. from the University of West Florida where he was an All-Region player with the Argonaut men’s soccer team. He and his wife, Beth, have one daughter, Elena.
