Larry Mahon became an assistant men's soccer coach at Spring Hill College in the spring of 2014.

Mahon will assist the head coach in the daily operations of the program including equipment, study hall supervision, team and individual training. He will train the team’s goalkeepers and work with the defensive unit as well as serve as the head coach for Junior Varsity program in charge of all facets of the program.

Mahon spent the spring of 2013 at Limestone College (S.C) as a volunteer assistant after playing four seasons from 2010-2013 at Limestone. In 2012 and 2013 Mahon captained Limestone to both Conference Carolina regular season and tournament titles. In 2011, 2012 and 2013 he was named to the Conference Carolinas Conference first team, NCAA All-Region and Daktronics All Region teams. Mahon was also awarded Team MVP in both the 2011 and 2013 seasons. During the 2011,2012 and 2013 summers he played in the Premier Development League (PDL) with the Ocean City Nor'easters, Portland Phoenix and West Virginia Warriors, respectively. He was also invited and participated in the 2014 USL pro combine.

A native of Kildare, Ireland, Mahon completed his Economics degree at Limestone in 2013. He will complete his MBA from Spring Hill College in May of 2016.
