James Beeston joined the Badger staff in 2015. He re-joined Coach Wieczorek on staff for the Badgers after playing for him at Siena College from 2010-2013. Beeston serves as the Badgers’ recruiting coordinator, supervising all aspects of player recruitment. He monitors the program’s academic progress including study hall and academic advising, as well as oversee NCAA compliance. He assists the head coach in team training and preparation, scout opponents as well as manages all of the marketing and social media for the program.

Prior to his arrival, Beeston served as the top assistant at The College of St. Rose in 2014 where he oversaw player recruitment and handled the day to day operation of a Division II program. A 2014 graduate of Siena, Beeston was a four-year starter and a three-year team captain. He was the first two-time First Team All- Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in school history and led the MAAC in assists in 2010 and 2012. He is Siena’s All-Time assist leader. Beeston also garnered Capital One Academic All-America® honors as a senior as well as being named a Lowes Senior C.L.A.S.S. award nominee. In 2012, he was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as a Scholar All-American following his junior year.

Beeston, a native of Newcastle-Under-Lyme, England has the UEFA “B” coaching license and has served as a youth coach for the Port Vale Football Club in Staffordshire, England. He played professionally for the Western Mass. Pioneers of the American Soccer League.

Beeston is currently pursuing his Master of Arts from Spring Hill College in Leadership.
