Brent Grube enters his first season on The Hill as a volunteer assistant coach in the summer of 2019 working primarily with the goalkeepers as well as training the JV team.

Grube reunites with head coach Steve Wieczorek at SHC after serving on his staff with AFC Mobile in 2019 when he helped lead the Azaleas to their first playoff appearance in club history. Grube has spent three years on staff with the Azaleas club as the goalkeeper coach.

Currently, Grube is a teacher at Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes, Ala. where he has coached both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams. Grube also founded and directs the Viking Futbol Club that is a grassroots level youth league in the Mobile soccer community.

A former goalkeeper, Grube played at both the University of Mobile and Cornerstone University where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education and minor in Mathematics. Grube had successful playing stints at the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy and with the Grand Rapids Edge PDL team.
