Alaye Brito enters his first season as student assistant coach for the SHC program in 2018. He will serve as the Badgers goalkeeping coach.
 
Brito co-captained the 2017 Badgers team to the best season in the programs 27 year history. He scored 5 goals and added 3 assists as a center forward for the high scoring group that scored a program best 52 goals in the campaign.
 
Brito joined the men’s soccer program in 2016 after playing his freshman season at Concordia College (Ala.) in Selma, where he scored seven goals with three assists for 17 total points.

Prior to his arrival in the US, the Belo-Horizonte, Brazil native enjoyed a successful youth career playing for several of the top Brazilian clubs including Atletico Mineiro, America Mineiro and Villa Nova. 

Brito is pursuing his undergraduate degree in Political Science and will graduate in 2019.  He hopes to one day become a member of the Brazilian Embassy.
