MOBILE, Ala. -- Spring Hill College women's soccer rallied from a second-half deficit Wednesday afternoon, scoring twice in the final 31 minutes to defeat Auburn University at Montgomery 2-1 at Library Field.

The victory marks the third straight for the Badgers, who improve to 3-2-1 overall and 2-0-0 in Gulf South Conference play.

After a scoreless first half, AUM took a 1-0 lead when Bella Ingstrom scored in the 52nd minute.

Spring Hill answered just over eight minutes later. Sofia Jimenez Garcia found Laura Lillie Sparks, who scored her first goal of the season in the 60th minute to level the match at 1-1.

The Badgers continued to pressure the Warhawks and eventually found the go-ahead goal in the 84th minute. Olivia Vasquez set up Kristina Wilkerson, who found the back of the net for her first goal of the season to give Spring Hill a 2-1 advantage.

Spring Hill's defense held AUM without another goal over the final six minutes to secure the comeback victory.

Ava Bell made two saves in goal for the Badgers, while Spring Hill finished with a 12-10 advantage in shots and a 7-5 edge in shots on goal.

The Badgers have now won three consecutive matches, including each of their first two GSC contests.

Spring Hill hits the road Saturday, Sept. 19, traveling to Jackson, Tenn., to face Union University at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CST.
