Spring Hill Volleyball, Beach Volleyball Earn AVCA Team Academic Awards
MOBILE, Ala. – Spring Hill College's volleyball and beach volleyball programs were recognized for their excellence in the classroom as both teams earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.

The AVCA Team Academic Award recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintain a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale. Established in 1992, the award celebrates programs that demonstrate success both in competition and in the classroom.

The volleyball and beach volleyball programs join a growing list of Badger teams to receive national academic recognition during the 2025-26 academic year.

To be eligible for the AVCA Team Academic Award, teams must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. Programs are nominated by an active AVCA member coach or the coach's representative.
