HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Spring Hill track and field teams wrapped up the Southern Miss Invitational on Saturday, with program records and PRs falling throughout the weekend.
Zachary Thomas highlighted the meet for the Badgers, setting a new meet record in the men's steeplechase.

Kobe King turned in a 9th-place finish in the men's triple jump, doing so with a leap of 13.54m (44' 5 ¼") that landed him in second on the program record book. King came in seventh in the long jump (6.69m/21' 11 ½"), while teammate Cavan Alston (6.03m/19' 9 ½") finished in 15th.

As the lone female field competitor for Spring Hill,
Claudia Billedeaux turned in an 18th-place finish in the women's shot put, doing so behind a toss of 10.37m (34' ¼"), fourth all-time at SHC.

On the track, Evelyn Herrera gave the Badgers a 6th-place finish in the women's 3K with a time of 11:35.07, placing her third in program history.
Luke Burlison followed with a new personal best on the men's side, earning 13th place behind a mark of 10:16.64.

The men's 4x100 relay team of
Theo Hubbard, King,
Devon Nash and
Grant Nastasi produced a combined time of 42.76 to finish the event in eighth place. Hubbard's went on to record a time of 15.96 in the men's 110m hurdles, good enough for tenth individually.

Grant Holder picked up a new PR in the men's 1500, doing so with a time of 4:34.84.

Lydia Hamilton gave Spring Hill a 16th-place finish in the women's 400, setting a new personal best time of 1:00.46 along the way.
Kobe King followed with a PR of his own in the men's race, as his time of 51.42 landed him in 32nd.

In the women's 100, program record holder
JaTerralyn Hamilton came in seventh place behind a season-best mark of 12.10. On the men's side, Nastasi's time of 10.55 was enough to earn him eighth place, and he now ranks 30th nationally in the event.

Cecilia Light (2:21.03) placed fifth in the women's 800, while Herrera (2:33.11) finished in 13th. Eric Lindmark turned in a season-best time of 2:00.77 in the men's 800, placing him fourth on the program record book in just his second time competing in the event.

In the women's 400m hurdles, Miriam Cosky (1:09.74) and
Ferrin Westry (1:10.40) took ninth and tenth respectively, with the latter picking up a new PR. Ben Harris placed 12th in the men's race, doing so behind a time of 57.82.

JeTarralyn Hamilton (26.16) led the Badgers in the women's 200, while
Lydia Hamilton (27.15) and
Lilly Legnon (29.98) were also part of a loaded field. Nastasi set a new PR time of 21.86 in the men's event to take 15th place, with Hubbard (22.81) and Alston (23.99) rounding out the field for Spring Hill.

Thomas won the men's steeplechase, as his new PR of 10:09.05 was good enough for a new meet record as well as a new program record.
Kerrigan Klevanosky placed fifth in the women's race, doing so behind a time of 15:30.04.

The women's 4x400 relay saw
Lydia Hamilton, Light, Cosky and JeTerralyn Hamilton run a 4:04.49 to earn fifth place in the event, marking Spring Hill's final event finish of the weekend.

The Badgers are back in action on April 11, when they take part in the USSU Eagles Invitational.
