Spring Hill women open SIAC Roundup with two wins

ORLANDO – The Spring Hill women's tennis team opened the SIAC Roundup with a pair of victories on Thursday, defeating Edward Waters 5-2 before sweeping Savannah State 7-0 later in the day. The Badgers have won back-to-back matches for the first time this spring and improve to 3-2 on the season.  
 
Match Details:
Spring Hill dropped the doubles point to Edward Waters in the first match of the tournament, but answered with five wins in singles play to pick up the victory. Claire Bosman picked up the clinching point for the Badgers, doing so with a 6-4, 6-4 win in the top singles flight.
 
The Badgers dominated in their second match of the day, as all three doubles tandems earned a win, followed by the first sweep of the year in singles action.
